Content Marketing Ideas That You Don’t Know About  Part 1

Google just came out with the recent Hummingbird Update, which is all about posting high quality content on your website. Keywords are important, but not so much. Here are some ideas for your inspiration.

 content-strategy

Create an eBook:  The power of eBooks allow a business to be marketed while bringing more subscribers to their blog. When creating an eBook, remember to supply only enough information to “wow” the readers until they subscribe to your blog. This is a great way to get natural links and new subscribers.

Submit to UGC Websites:  Once you have created your blog post, you can convert it into a PDF and submit it to websites such as scribd (a digital documents library that allows users to publish, discover and discuss original writings and documents in various languages) and other document sharing websites.

Interviewing Powerful Influencers: If you want a good way to build a rapport with your audience, then try to interview the top influencers in your industry. For our clients, we usually use Skype for interviews or conduct interviews via email. This is a great way to increase your reach to other audiences and increase the business subscriber base.

Columnists for News Sites or Co-Authored Blogs:  We can always use more substantial content in our blogs and news sites. Why not donate your expertise to another blogger of interest? In order to find these types of blogs, use keywords or offer to become a contributor.  Simply, email the blogger to express your interest and ideas. We would be a great partner in terms of blogging because we blog consistently and we have a variation of different topics to offer. Don’t forget we have been around for over

Infographics:  This is a great way to build links to your website and expose your brand. Start out by searching the web for the best infographics related to your industry. This means high numbers of views and high number of shares. Then create your own infographic using Visual.ly (the world’s largest community of infographics and data visualization) and Infogr.am (super-easy data visualization for everyone) or hire a graphic designer to do it for you.  Remember to add the “Pin” button so people can share it on Pinterest (a popular tool for collecting and organizing the  things you like).

Power of Press Releases:  Press releases are an effective way to get you ranked for keywords related to your industry. You can email them to your list and use them as a way to engage with your audience. Use open-ended questions to get more commentary for your audience. An easy way to reach out to journalists is to give them commentary until they are ready to cover a story on your blog.

Blog Updates:  Would you like to  know the easiest way to retain visitors to your blog? You must blog often and consistently. It is like receiving free repeating visits to your website. You can either send an email when you create a new blog post or ask visitors to subscribe to your feed.

Videos:  Make sure your videos are straightforward with no fluff. Get to the point and make sure your videos look first class! A great way to stay organized is to sort your videos into different categories and add them to a playlist.

Free Staff:  Everyone loves free stuff! Take advantage of it! Why not create downloadable items or gifts that are free whenever you are given an opportunity? Ask your audience how you can improve on your content and reward them for their feedback.

Posts and Enhancements:  Meta description on your posts should have two guidelines: 1) have a call-to-action and 2) use cliffhangers (that require they click through to read the full-story).
